I don't bother to "release" the pressure (discussed in the instructions for it) and I do only fill part ways. If I get clogging I will come back and post my sins in a later update. I only fill about 10-20% not only because they instruct you to, but I don't use enough.. the oil has a tendency to get "randy".. that is to have a slightly "off" taste.. if you don't use it fairly quickly ...this is not a problem with the sprayer.. just that oils "oxidize" ...
