Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An epic game
I too, was one of the many lost young children, that couldn't get past level 3 of Battletoads. So many years on, in today's day and age, with my sleek grey hair and walking stick at my side, when I have the time, and the arthritis in my thumbs is bearable, I still play this game. Why?

Without exaggeration, it is one of the greatest games ever made in my experience. Displaying some awesome graphics for it's time, stomping soundtracks, coupled with an incredible blend of fighting and platform ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - If you grew up like the nija turtle you will find this difficult game fun
Once consider the eigth hardest game at the time of it's release on the original NES consule. Here is a walkthrough of boss static damage resitance and moves and other stats and tips. You don't want these statics close the web page now if you want to discovere these statics yourself. The first boss this guy gut to using wraps to skip some of earlier leavel does not have a very good attack strategy if you are experience our are using cheats. He just jump around and fire bullets at you kind of like bubble ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An NES legend, in scope and difficulty...
At the time this game was notorious for its inability of most of the general public to get past level 3. Most kids at the time just couldn't. And for a game that has it's content so well designed for kids (a TMNT rip-off, 'toad tongue-in-cheek) this is unfortunate since the dynamics of each of the 12 levels are incredibly varied. Really the game itself isn't a kid's difficulty level. I've heard many deem it the TOUGHEST NES game ever, arguably more so than even Metroid. Because much of it can only be ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Crime fighting toads? Sounds like a fable!
This extremely challenging and pleasant NES game is sorta like Double Dragon or River City Ransom. The game has a somewhat 3-D enviroment rather than 2-D. In it, you must defeat bosses, dodge obstacles in a high speed speeder bike chase, and play with two players as well. The wierd weapons make it intriguing but I only give it four stars because you can't beat it in one sitting and it dosen't have any darn password or save system! I can never get passed level three! The challenge make it to die for, though. ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - BattleToads? NO WAY!!
Definitly a game to skip, the plot [is bad]. You can't find codes for it. The 2nd level is impossible. You could definitly spend your money in a better way. Nuff said.
