In my earlier review, I said that the green LED focus indicator light would flash at four times per second under low-light conditions. I meant to say that it is actually the proximity detector. The minimum shooting distance for the lens is 2/3 of a meter, about two feet, so this is as close as you can get. If you're closer than that, the light will flash at you.
