Editorial Review: Product Description: 1-4 PLAYERS CRASH AND HIS FRIENDS ARE BACK IN A KNOCK DOWN DRAG OUT ARENA RUMBLE. GET READY TO RACE RUMBLE JUMP THROW AND BATTLE IT OUT. Amazon.com Review: With Crash Bash, the PlayStation finally has received its official party game in the vein of Mario Party and Sonic Shuffle. Up to four players can engage in 30 minigames, provided that one of those players owns a Multitap accessory. The games are almost as simple as the minigames that are found in Combat for the old Atari. There's Crash Ball, a four-way game of pong, and Desert Fox, in which the game characters go after each other in tanks. Adventure mode even includes boss battles in minigame form. The beauty of Crash Bash is that anyone--and I mean anyone--can pick it up and play it, with virtually no instruction. On the other hand, playing against computer opponents is pointless. Without friends to liven things up, the premise gets old in no time. The graphics and sounds share the same cartoonish quality of the previous Crash games, with playable bad guys. There's some graphical choppiness in multiplayer mode, but looks aren't the point of this one, anyway. --Robb Guido Pros:
Amazon.com Product Description: Crash Bash is a multievent party game in which four people can play several minigames as characters from the Crash Bandicoot series. Characters include Coco, Brio, Dingodile, Tiny, and Neo Cortex. The games are organized from a central hub world from which spokes lead to different levels. Games include pong, in which players defend one side of the screen, and a pogo-stick game, in which players hop to change the color of squares on a board by landing on them, then earn points by collecting boxes. Another game places characters on the backs of polar bears as they try to ram each other off the sides of an iceberg, with variants that include melting ice and playfield angles that change with your location. Each game features variations; some allow for two-player teams. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Crash AttackCrash Bash is a great game, although some kids hate it. But why should that change my opinion? It shouldn't. That's why I like it. It's fun, too. The only thing bad about it is that it always takes forever to load. Me and my brother are at my cousins house right now, playing on the computer, waiting for the PlayStation to cool down so that we can play Crash Bash. It's a pretty old PlayStation, but it still works. I don't have a game console, so that's why I'm so bored with not playing. If you play ... Read More Rating: - Great for its Time!I consider this game to be one of the best PlayStation1 games. My friend used to have a PS2, and we'd play this at his house. The PS2 was fairly new then, so I thought that this was one of the new PS2 games with great graphics. But I was greatly mistaken when I bought a used PS1. This game was really a PS1 game, and my friend had been using backwards-compatability. This meant that even for an old mediocre system like the PlayStation1, they managed to create such an action-packed party game. ... I don't have it, and I don't even have a PlayStation, or PS2. But, I have played it at my cousins house, and my friends house. Come to think of it, when I finish doing this, I'm going to my friend's house to play Crash Bash. It's so fun. I almost can't live without it. I have two favorite games. Drain Bash, and Manic Panic. I like Drain Bash, because you can get all sorts of awsome power-ups. I like Manic Panic, ... First, there are the fabulous sound effects, which to me make a huge difference. Then, there are the cool boss battles and great levels. Especially the crate crushes. Throwing explosive boxes and stone crates is a good source of entertainment for me. There are also all of the characters crammed into one game. There's Crash, of course, and Coco, Dingodile, Tiny, N.Gin, Neo Cortex, N.Brio, Rilla Roo, and many, many more. If you like action ...
