The high-quality stainless-steel steamer can be split up and used separately with the push of a button, but its true value comes in its ability to steam two separate dishes in the same pot. Many bamboo steamers can accomplish this task, but most are sized to fit over a wok, which can dominate a small cooktop. The larger steamer (7-1/8 inches in diameter) fits into any larger pot, which leaves plenty of room on the rest of your stove. Since the steamers detach with one button push and reattach with even less effort, staggering your cooking times within the same pot is simply accomplished. I don't want to see how long it is before I overcook something and melt it! Rating: - double steamerWorks well - very handy for extra veggies or 2 veggies at once.
