My decision was based on my 4 year personal experience of owning a Pro510XL in my Jeep on "Steroids" and using it under real world off-road field conditions with no problems what so ever. SWR around 1.5. Works great. Rating: - A great starter, and a great finisher. This is a good CB.When I ordered this CB, I really didn't want to buy another compact model, but in this case I'm glad I did. Don't let the small size scare you away. The audio is loud and crisp, and you get tuning knob that goes "click, click, click" just like the big ones. This is one case where you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a great product. Read More Rating: - Great basic CB with a loud internal speakerI have two of these and they've taken a beating for 4 years. One has been in my Jeep CJ-7 that is mostly driven offroad. The Jeep shakes, rattles (haven't rolled it yet) and the CB works like new. The speaker is also very loud which is nice when the top of the Jeep is off. The other CB is in a work pickup and has been flawless as well, it's mounted on a flimsy ash tray that causes it to vibrate all the time (which can't be good for it).
