 Rating:  - This is a practical and basic corded phoneI already have cordless phones. I bought this corded phone for emergency when electricity goes out. I have a mom who stays home most of the time. Therefore, I believe it will be very useful since we have a bad experience not able to contact each other during the last power outage. No problem mounting it on our kitchen wall. It has memory and speed dialing feature which is a plus. I would rate it 5-stars if the keypad has a brighter illumination. Rating:  - Basic, but servicableFor the price, this phone serves its purpose well. The one thing that keeps it from getting five stars is that the phone does not have an off/on switch.
