 Rating:  - Keeping open bottles of wine drinkable!I love a glass of good wine with dinner... OK, sometimes two. Much to my doctor's relief, I don't drink a whole bottle at one sitting. To save the leftover wine, I use the Vacu-vin system. It's extremely affordable, the toppers are reusable, and it's much more convenient than some of the higher priced vacuum systems (or the nitrogen spray). Plus it's a fun workout pumping out the air! Make sure you get the pump, too. Rating:  - Vacuvin products are getting worseThese stoppers require that you hold the pump more perpendicular above the stopper and then hold the seal more firmly. They aren't as forgiving as the old stoppers for when you hold it at a slight angle. Its frustrating when technology moves backwards, and then they call it progress. Unless the weather is extremely warm, it will last for several days after opening it. I love this product. Rating: - Wine keepersThis is an excellent product. Inexpensive but saves money. I am a one glass of wine per day person. Now I can enjoy the same taste as the day we open the bottle. Highly recommended. Rating: - Vac-U-Vin replacements-GREATVac-UVin wine stoppers allow you to remove the air from opened wine bottles and preserve them longer. These hard to find replacements were better than the originals! |
