 Rating:  - Oster = qualityThis is the second Oster blender that I have purchased in 25 years. I didn't need to replace the old one, I just needed another. Oster makes the finest blender that I have every used and I have never had one break down. Rating:  - Loud and ineffectiveThis blender has not worked for making sauces or soup. It will only blend the material at the very bottom. It's also extremely loud. Rating: - Worked for SIX YearsWe received this blender as a wedding gift six years ago. We are heavy blender users. I drink smoothies a few times a week and used it to make salsa at least once a week. It was great for chopping ice and nuts too. Sadly the motor burned out yesterday. Definitely get this blender!!!
