Product Description:
The reason most sauce recipes begin with 'in a heavy saucepan ' is because sauces need to simmer slowly and evenly. The cast iron construction of this sauce pan ensures consistent heating, resulting in slow and even simmers. The porcelain enamel interior is perfect for high-acid sauces because the non-metallic coating does react or leach into your food. The weight of the cast iron lid ensures a tight seal to retain moisture.
Cherry red.
2 quart/2.6 litre capacity.
Made of porcelain-enamelled cast iron, which absorbs heat quickly, distributes it evenly and gently, and retains the heat long after removal from the heat source. Limited lifetime warranty.

Very nice, heavy and solid feeling, spreads heat evenly and cleans with ease.
