 Rating:  - Very Strong WorkbenchI built my workbench 6 x 2.5 FT. I used 1/2 plywood for the bottom shelf and 3/4 plywood for the middle and work surface. The result is a very strong workbench. Note that the vertical space between shelfs is small (bottom: 11 1/4", middle: 8 1/2") so I modified my workbench by doing the middle shelf halfway (see customer image). I used some galvanized brackets to support this modification. As a result I now have 23 3/4" of vertical clearance on one side of the workbench. This allows me to fit big ... Like others who noted the same, it is relatively easy to build although the directions are pictures and no helpful words. The kit does not come with a "cut list" which is a needless oversight.
