She didn't sit and watch it but it was on in the room while she played. After 2 or 3 showings, I was shocked when she pointed to the letter W in a puzzle and made the proper sound for the W! We have bought all the dvds in the series. We used these in conjunction with Hooked on Phonics, Bob Books and some Scholastic Readers.
