 Rating:  - THis is the worst canning product ever!I was so excited to get a canner that can do such huge amounts and to upgrade from my $10 thrift store purchase of a presto canner. I have had nothing but trouble. The first time was actually ok, sadly because that was still within the 30 day return policy. The second time I used it steam was billowing out of the canner. My wife and I bottled 51 pints of chicken that we found on sale for $1.19 per pound instead of paying around $3.00 per pound at the savings club store we shop at. Because of the large capacity of the 30 qt cooker, we were able to cook and preserve the chicken in just a few hours. I love the fact that the canner/pressure cooker has no seal that will have to be replaced time and again over the years. It sure is nice to have the food we preserved in storage.
