Recently, its been resetting itself and it usually occurs when I'm downloading or watching videos. The modem does feel a bit hot after awhile. After several tests of my connection, Comcast has determined that it was my modem that could be the problem. A Comcast technician said that it probably resets itself when it gets too hot.
