Used to make soup, spagetti sauce, and baked apples. Great with the low height, the best pan I have ever owned (50 years cooking). Rating: - Worried about non stick....no needI have now used this pan several times both on the stove top and in the oven. I am very impressed. I was concerned about it not having the non stick surface that my commercial non stick calphalon. It is very easy to clean up and it cooks very well. The large size was also a concern. After receiving this pan and using it, the large size has not been a problem, in fact it is a plus. This is one you can buy with confidence. I went home and searched Amazon and found the Calphlon Dutch Oven for a good price. It is heavy like the ones and Wms. Sonoma. It is a huge pan. In fact, the size kind of surprise me.
