 Rating:  - works as expectedI purchased this waffle iron after watching "Good Eats". Now the product was not mentioned by name however the show recommeded the requirements this Waffler provides. The alarm that notifies you that the waffle maker is pre-heated, and when the waffle is ready works perfectly. There is no on and off switch, but you just have to unplug it. One thing I did not like was the slider that controls how long the waffle cooks. The switch is a bit flimsy. It does everything as advertised. The waffles that it produces are crisp on the outside and light and fluffy in the middle. The unit is also very easy to keep clean. Just wipe it down once it cools off is all that is needed. My only complaint is that all of the writing on the unit has already rubbed off from wiping it down after each use. I would certainly purchase this unit again. |
