It is soft and comfortable, with an adjustable elastic band. As I keep the mask a little bit low on my face it totally blocks out the light giving me the comfort I need. Although I would prefer that the front of the sleep mask would be black instead of the moon and stars. The strap is adjustable to fit your head. The silkiness feels good on the eyes too.
