Maybe that's why I like my adaptor so much more than most of the other reviewers. Mine doesn't turn hot or hasn't melted (yet?)! It can be inserted into the MacBook either way - meaning it's never upside down. There is a magnetic pull to it so it easily inserts. If you have a Mac Book, you might want to pick up a spare adaptor. My first one quit working 5 days after the warranty expired. The replacement for it lasted less than a week. No overheating, breaking, etc. One of them travels and I'm constantly winding up the cord, folding it up, packing, unpacking, and otherwise handling the adapter ungently. Never had any trouble with it. Am thinking about getting another one (to leave at work). |
