 Rating: - Mixed ResultsI've had mixed results with this product. The first spindle I bought was fantastic, only 2 or 3 bad presses on the spindle. The next one I bought, I must have thrown out 20 discs or more. All of them press issues. A friend of mine had very similar results. Memorex is great, when it is good. You'll just have to average it out over the number you purchase and decide if the fabulously cheap price makes the occasional bad spindles acceptable. Rating:  - Very reliable on properly maintained systemsI bought the Memorex dual layer discs despite the spate of negative reviews simply because the price of the next cheapest brand was prohibitive. At first I was really upset with the discs. As I tried to burn DVDs I got error message after error message telling me that there had been a media error. I happily sat all these discs off to one side. Eventually, after about 15 successfully burned discs, I had a stack of 10 failures. But then I started trying to use these discs on future burns, and ... Read More Rating:  - use as 6x-4x instead of 8xGood deal, and its quality is good(just low the burn speed to 4x-6x, instead of its marked 8x), can ensure you 100% success rate, :P. I recommand this product due to its good quality/price. Rating: - Worth the moneyI recently bought a laptop that has a dual-layer DVD burner and was afraid that the media would be twice as expensive and the regular single layer DVDs. Thankfully, my fears were unfounded and I was able to find them for a great price here on Amazon. I have burned data onto several of them already and I have run into no problems. Rating:  - Horrible DVDs coaster after coasterSo far have been only able to burn 3 out of 10, most of them cant even begin to burn and the rest stop half way through. Worse brand had HP brand media before and never had a problem with any of the DVDs never buying this brand for DL, I used way back cd-r memorex and did not have a problem but the DL is a whole other issue avoid at all costs! |
