She uses the chalkboard to play school, she uses the write-off board to create signs for her "shows," and we've gone through three rolls of paper. Very sturdy. The easel was very simple to put together. My husband and I were expecting to spend an hour or so putting this together and had it together within about 20 minutes. I had contemplated purchasing the IKEA model easel for like $14, but it couldn't stand up to the quality offered by Melissa and Doug. The M&D has a blackboard, whiteboard, paints, crayons, chalk and paper! It even includes a plastic clear mat to place on the floor so it catches spills etc. The paint is completely washable - my daughter got some on our wood floors and it came right off, without a trace.
