In this case it appears I was my own victim of penny wise, pound foolish. Sure, you're getting Sennheiser for a very reasonable price, but the design and sound in my opinion is weak. They come with three different sizes of plugs for your ears which is cool, but the way they lock into your ear be prepared to hear sounds generated from your head movements and breathing if your working out.
