Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Severely Lacking...
When I listen to Leona she reminds me of early Whitney Houston minus the heart and soul. I want to love Leona because she has potential to be a great artist but she simply fails to connect with the audience through her music. Even worst the music sounds overly dated and sappy as if it were material written back in the 80's for some long-forgotten female pop artist. I've watched some of Leona's performance on television over the past few months and my friends and I have noticed she also lacks any personality on stage - whatsoever. Its just one boring performance after another. Also I've noticed the tone of Leona's voice is deep and she can't seem to hit pitch perfect high notes of the likes of other young female singers already out there.

While I understand Simon and Clive are trying to market Leona as the next Mariah, but did they have to put together an album cover reminiscent of Mariah's 'Visions of Love' debut? Simply pull back the camera to include the torso and it's the same cover only with a different face. These guys must think they've uncovered a gold mine here but what glitters isn't alway GOLD.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Really? This is what passes for a GOOD VOCALIST?
Okay, I listened to this after hearing the excruciatingly tuneless "Bleeding Love", maybe hoping for some sort of music hidden within the confines of Lewis' inability to create a melody.

And there wasn't. I noticed she's being positioned as some sort of second coming of Mariah. Well, Mariah is still around, and she can bring a tune to life like no one else. Lewis does nothing but noodle around with illogical, off-key vocal acrobatics that go nowhere.

Look, it's great that she isn't tone deaf, but learn to create and carry a tune.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AWESOME!!!
Great CD for driving, or just to put you in a good mood and reminise.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pop Princess with Powerful Pipes
Somewhat formulaic pop album with no great surprises, only saved by Leona's pure musical prowess and simply beautiful voice. She is truly deserving of her win, with her voice she could be a star for decades to come, she could make a cornflakes jingle grammy worthy, but she needs better material.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Leona Lewis, Spirit
What a fantastic voice! I loved, loved, loved the whole CD.
There was not one bad song on the whole CD. I am watching for her next one.
